A Risograph printmaking workshop to create your own RISO printed postcards to celebrate the Summer.
This 2 hour workshop offers a great introduction to Riso, a simple and fun printmaking process with vivid colours and quick results! Suitable for both adults and kids interested drawing and printmaking - RISO offers plenty of scope for individual creativity.
During the workshop, we will Introduce you to this creative and eco friendly print process, check out printed examples, including, postcards. prints and zine, as well as the Roots Press ink range and papers. We will then create original collages or drawings which will be directly scanned onto the printer for duplication into a limited edition 2-colour A6 zine.
If you would like to prepare some work in advance, please bring B&W printed copies that you are happy to cut up or trace at A5 size or smaller.
Once you have completed the workshop, why not join the Roots Press Membership to use the open access print sessions to print your own work!?
Suitable for children 8+
Families with children aged 8+ are also welcome to work as pairs, if you prefer this option, please book a family ticket (one adult / one child).
No experience necessary.
